The bathroom door was dirty, scuffed and in need of some TLC. My creative vision was to use some #IOD transfers and make a wildflower garden. I painted the door white and that's when things started to change.
I actually painted 2 coats of primer (the entire trailer has 2 coats of #umaXIM primer from ceiling, walls, cabinets to the bathroom door. I wanted to seal down anything that was there from previous owners. Done.
From there I thought maybe a nice sky line would be nice and then the vision took a different direction to a mountain scene with a mountain lake and a field of wildflowers in the foreground.
Whimsy enough!! Basically~ I used many tools that I own already. I used paints from Miss Lillian's No Wax Cholk paint; stamps (the flowers) from IOD; silk screen transfers from my extensive collection from Chalk Couture.
I just kept having fun~and allowing the creativity to pour out! I was imagining the travel and the art!
Embrace YOUR creativity! Ask if you have questions and give it a GO. The painting of this door wasn't as difficult as finding a new doorknob~took me 3 times to the hardware store AND then I ordered one from Ebay. When you're restyling a TT, sizes are smaller, weight matters and do your homework!
